I FEEL LIKE FAMILY

I have lived in Kenosha most of my life and my family is in the area but I like the country feel of the Cottages at Village Green yet, I still feel close to the action. I felt very secure to move here because I didn’t want an apartment style condo and my entire checklist was fulfilled.

Doug and Todd Stanich immediately took me under their wing and guided me every step of the way after I lost my husband and decided to transition from my family home to a condo lifestyle. Jade and Joan Stanich provided design expertise to help me coordinate all of my interior design features and now I feel like I’m living in a magazine layout! It’s perfect for me and the camaraderie in the neighborhood is great.

By the time I moved in, I felt like an extension of the Stanich Family. They made me feel so confident and comfortable throughout the process, they’re wonderful people. I am their #1 Cheerleader!

NO “APARTMENT” FEEL

We have built homes before, so we know it’s a process, but chose Douglas Kent Development because they are a builder with a history of successful, high-quality developments. We appreciate the overall design that provides for some uniformity within the community yet allows for individual selections on the interior. We also value the benefits of a condo yet there is minimal “apartment” feel.

We also chose the Cottages at Village Green based on several factors, including the proximity to the future downtown in Pleasant Prairie, the RecPlex and easy interstate access. It is nestled between three beautiful and more mature subdivisions. The building process was very easy

Our first condo left us feeling isolated and desiring a community that was better designed with more natural light and overall sense of community. We chose to build in the Cottages at Village Green because we loved the variety of homes and cheerful design of the neighborhood.

The building process was very easy. The architect was simple to work with and accommodated what we wanted. Everyone was more than willing to help us build our home and great to work with. Doug & Todd Stanich were with us every step of the way to make sure things were done right and are still always readily available to answer any questions.

We’re so happy to be part of a friendly neighborhood where some of our old neighbors from Forest Park also chose to downsize!

We were attracted to The Cottages at Village Green community as well as the design and quality construction of the homes. The selection of floor plans is varied and can be customized to suit varying lifestyles.

During the construction of our condominium, Douglas Kent Development and their capable team have been sensitive to our requests and willing to make alterations during construction. DKD creates beautiful individualized living spaces.
